Guided Snowmobile Tours at Snowbird

Think all snowmobile trips are the same? Think again. Lofty Peaks Adventures LLC, in conjunction with Snowbird Ski Resort, has put together a guided snowmobile tour that is unlike anything else on earth or snow. This truly unique snowmobiling experience, located at the world renowned resort in Little Cottonwood Canyon, is just 20 minutes from downtown Salt Lake City and the only snowmobiling area that can be accessed on the Salt Lake side of the Wasatch Mountains.

Snowbird Snowmobile Tours
After checking in at the Activity Center adjacent to the Tram Station, Snowbird snowmobile tours kick off with a ride to the 11,000-foot Hidden Peak aboard the world famous Snowbird Aerial Tram — one of the few ski trams in North America. At the top, the view of the surrounding Wasatch Mountain Peaks will take away what breath you still have remaining at this elevation. From the peak, a brief ride on a high-speed quad ski lift takes you to your waiting snowmobile in beautiful and remote Mineral Basin.
