When spring hits
Utah, it’s ATV season! We at
Lofty Peaks Adventures LLC cannot wait to take our customers on
ATV tours or get them out on some fantastic backcountry trails. However, we know that many of you are making vacation plans and may have some questions about
renting an ATV. We’ll hit a few of the most common questions, but you can contact us directly or check out our
policies for more rental info.
1. How old do I have to be to rent an ATV?
To rent a
standard ATV, you must be at least 18 years old. To drive an
ATV rental, you must be 18 years old; we allow 16-year-olds to drive an ATV only when accompanied by an adult who is 21 years old.
2. Do I need to make a reservation or can I just drop in?
We want to make sure you get the
ATV rentals you want on the day you want them. Therefore, we require reservations on all our rentals. You can do same-day reservations, but during high-demand seasons, we cannot guarantee that you can get an
ATV rental or join an
ATV tour. If you know when you’ll be in the
Park City, UT area, then go ahead and give us a call or
request a reservation online.
3. How much does an ATV rental cost?
ATV rates depend on what type of trail experience you want. The basic park-and-ride,
self-guided ATV rental package—for either a one- or two-person ATV—is $105 for two hours. Rates go up from there, based on how long you want to ride the trails and whether you want a
guided ATV rental. You can find many different rental packages that work best for you, including drive-away ATVs that include a travel trailer.
