After spending time exploring northern Utah’s amazing trails on your RZR or ATV rental, you might be ready to rinse off the dust and spend some time enjoying the water at Jordanelle State Park. Quick or quiet, with friends or on your own,
watersports offer an exhilaration all their own. If you haven’t tried any new watersports lately, now’s the time to take advantage of the summer weather and test your personal limits trying out a new challenge.
Exciting Jet Skiing
If
trail riding through the Wasatch Mountains has you hooked on the thrill and adrenaline of the ride, you can carry that over by jumping on a jet ski and zipping around the Jordanelle Reservoir. One of the great things about jet skiing is that you can choose to tear up the water or take a more leisurely pace and enjoy the amazing natural views. You can even stop and jump in the water to cool off and then zoom off again.
Calming Kayaking and Paddle Boarding
If you’re looking for something a bit quieter, a kayak or SUP might be a better option for you. Gliding along the shoreline or heading further out under your own power is great exercise and can be super relaxing once you’ve got the hang of it. Once you try it, you’ll understand why paddle boarding is one of the quickest growing watersports in the USA!
Fishing – The Ultimate Old-School Watersport
In our experience, it’s very common for ATV and
snowmobiling enthusiasts to also be avid fishermen. Northern Utah has lots of great fishing spots and the Jordanelle Reservoir is a convenient spot for visitors to Heber City and Park City. The reservoir is well-stocked and those who want to hook trout, walleye, perch, and bass are sure to leave happy.
Whether you want to hit the trails or get on the water, the region has all the outdoor activities you’re looking for. To learn more about our ATV, RZR and snowmobile rentals, call
