Our Midway location has been the #1 snowmobile destination for locals and visitors alike for over 30 years. Snowmobile tours through Lofty Peaks Adventures LLC are true backcountry trips with the best guides in the industry. No short circuitous loop trails or putt-putt “follow the leader” rides here. We keep our tour groups small, but the opportunities for fun and adventure are huge! Whether it’s gliding on groomed trails of glistening snow through 100+ year pine and aspen forests, basking in endless views from the mountain tops, carving a new trail through the trees, or ramping it up in dozens of alpine bowls and meadows, there just isn’t better snowmobiling anywhere in Utah.

1-Hour Snowmobile Trip
This trip is just enough to wet your whistle and leave you wanting more. Perfect for those with very young children or limited time, this snowmobile tour will give you a great introduction to snowmobiling in Utah.
2-Hour Snowmobile Trip
This is our most popular snowmobiling adventure. For both beginners and experts, the two-hour trip is the perfect blend of back-country trail riding combined with plenty of play time in multiple meadows and un-surpassed views from up to 11,000 feet. We promise you more terrain and more miles of snowmobiling than any comparable trip.
3-Hour Snowmobile Trip
For just a bit more exploration, we offer a 3-hour mid-morning option that includes lunch or a mid-afternoon option without lunch. Either way, you’ll experience even more of what folks have been coming back to visit for over 30 years.
Half-Day (4 Hour) Snowmobile Trip
We call this trip “Snowmobile Heaven.” Explore the high country from Sundance Ski Resort and Cascade Springs to the backside peaks of Alta and Snowbird. Our guides have traversed nearly every square foot of this area and know just where the best spots are and how to get you there. You’ll work up an appetite and then stop for a trailside lunch, while you swap stories and phone videos. Warning: this trip is addictive, and you’ll find yourself re-booking time and time again. It’s also a great trip for a chance to see wildlife, especially moose.
Full-Day (6 Hour) Ultimate Snowmobile Trip
Simply put, our full day trips are “snowmobile nirvana.” Describing it would be wasting words. But experience it for yourself and you’ll never stop talking about it. This trip isn’t just more of everything. It IS everything!
Ride & Slide Package
This Lofty Peaks exclusive package offers a fun day of winter activities, combining a two-hour snowmobile tour with two hours of lift-served tubing on America’s longest tubing lanes at Soldier Hollow — home to one of the 2002 Olympic venues (just ten minutes away.) Save time and money when you purchase this snowmobile and tubing adventure, and leave the arrangements to us. There’s even time for a delicious lunch at one of Midway’s fine eateries.
Our Guided Snowmobile Rentals Location
With its Swiss heritage and rugged granite mountain peaks, you’ll see why the Park City bedroom community of Midway is called “Utah’s Alps.” Our location is so easy to find, and so convenient — just 30 minutes from Park City on all-paved roads. We provide plenty of accessible parking and a free shuttle right to your snowmobile. Our facility has clean heated restrooms and refreshments at your disposal.
